Foreword
"I firmly believe that all people have a right to be RICH." Paul D. Hughes
Even growing up as a young boy from the suburbs of southern Sydney, I always knew that for me it was inevitable that something great was going to come my way.
As I was growing older I had always had an inner sense that my future was going to be different to that of my parents. Not that my mum and dad had a bad life; it was just that something inside me was saying this would not be where I'd end up.
I traveled the world for 6 years. Sometimes by myself and sometimes I hitched up with someone to travel with. It was an exciting time in my life.
I remember turning up at a youth hostel that could be a castle, somewhere in a strange new country and meeting up with friends that I had left somewhere else. The first time I saw glow-worms was in a place like this.
We used to sit around and look in wonder at the lifestyles of the rich and famous (we actually used to call them infamous) and dream about where we would be when we all stopped traveling and settled down.
I realized when we were dreaming these things that we would all probably end up just the way we were raised by our parents. That was not what I had dreamed.
I started to not so much disassociate myself from these travelers but associate with people with a higher dream rating. People who were in business for themselves.
Walking along the jetties where the large boats were moored and talking to the owners and asking how they came to own such a wonderful boat. Looking at the fantastic homes some families lived in.
The answers were all pretty much the same, not all, but most. They all worked for themselves and they gave part of their income away.
This piece of information was not always forthcoming at the beginning of the conversation.
After I returned to Australia my father passed away from cancer in his blood. This was a most disturbing time for me to see my father wither away to nothing after all of the hard work he had put in to raise and support a family. I remembered what my dreams were then and decided to not end up this way. I was determined to leave a legacy for my family and friends.
Cancer struck me down for 4 years. When this happened I had been friendly with quite a number of very successful people and also very positive people. One couple was Craig and Anna Deane, from Melbourne, Victoria.
I did not know them all that well but out of all the people I knew, they were the only ones who actually sent me a card and a few phone calls.
I also had a book called "How to Handle A Major Crisis" by Peter J. Daniels. This book and a couple of others really helped me to get through this time. I have met Mr Daniels once, very briefly.
As luck would have it, I will be getting the opportunity to meet him again later this year for 3 days. I can not wait, I am so excited.
I have to also mention professor Tom Havas, the man who, after 3 other doctors told me that they could do no more for me, cured me and helped me to talk again.
Some people deserve to be put on a pedestal.
Pat Mesiti is the man who inspired my dream to become reality. To help others so they can help themselves.
Of course, associating with the right people and reading the right books has also helped me to help myself. This is why I wanted to associate myself with this book, "The Science Of Getting Rich".
I have had the pleasurable honor of spending time with some really great people who have inspired me to where I am today.
It has been through reading these books, listening to CD’s and talking to these people and others like them, that have helped me get through the tough times.
Today I own, with my wife, 10 investment properties plus our own home. We have been able to help family and a friend financially and I have been successful with my career with-in the construction industry and have started “Priority Training Australia”.
A cause close to my heart, helping people help themselves. For your free report go to www.priorityonetrainingtoday.com
All of these people are very successful business people and very wealthy to boot. Not just with money but with attitudes, friendships, family, honor and integrity.
This book was suggested to me by a man who also had an influence in my life, Murray Priestley. Thank you Murray, you have a made a difference in my life in the short time since we met. I am sure this will not be the last time we see each other.
In this book you will find the secrets that will help you to aspire to the riches you desire to achieve.
My Inspiring Friends:
My wife Joanne whom is also my best friend, Craig and Anna Deane, Peter J. Daniels, Judeth Wilson, Kevin Young, Professor Tom Havas (a life-saver), Pat Mesiti and numerous others whom I hope will understand that there are too many to list here.
